The theatre aspirants of the city were given a task for three months to achieve what they desire for. The script writing workshop concluded on Tuesday with a promise by the participants to achieve their most desire dream in three months.
A script writing workshop was organised by Karmayogi theatre troupe, Bhopal for the city theatre aspirants. The two day long workshop concluded here on Tuesday. An expert and renowned playwright Sudeep Sohni conducted the workshop. Notably, Sudeep is an alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and has been in theatre from a long time.
Being in theatre and films Sudeep knows the details about the field. He shared his experiences with the participants during the script writing workshop. The expert while conducting the script writing workshop emphasized over various aspects of theatre and film and script writing.
On the last day of the workshop practical for scrip writing was held through tasks and assignments.
Through various exercises and tasks, Sudeep concluded the workshop. It was a fun-to-be workshop wherein the participants learned the ‘art of writing’ through interesting assignments. On the last day of the workshop, a play reading session was held.
The participants read the famous story by Munshi Premchand ‘Idgah’. After reading session, Sudeep asked the participants to create a short play over the same concept ‘Idagh’. The participants used their imagery and with beautiful and wise play of words created one act play.
Then Sudeep asked the participants to remember one best incident of their life and write a short scene over it. The participants enthusiastically participated in each task.
Sudeep wrapped up the workshop with a motivational talk. He asked the student to achieve one of their desires in three months. He also asked them to follow the rules of professionalism strictly wherever they go. The workshop concluded on a happy note.
