Power discoms join hands with Mobikwik for cashback scheme

BSES Rajdhani Power limited (BRPl) and BSES Yamuna Power limited (BYPl) have partnered with Mobikwik to facilitate an attractive cash-back scheme to its 40 lakh consumers.  According to the scheme, the consumers have to pay the three consecutive bills in time and in return they can get a cash-back of Rs 1200.

A senior BSES official said that BSES consumers residing in South, West, East and Central Delhi can get a cash-back of flat Rs 300 per-month for timely payment of their bills in January, February, and March 2018.  “Moreover, they can get additional cash back of Rs 300 for pre-payment of the April bill on or before 31st March,” he said.

The official further said that to become eligible for the scheme, consumers simply have to pay-three consecutive BRPl/BYPl bills in time, which can also include the pre payment of the April 2018 bill and in return they can get a cash-back of  Rs 1200.  “The consumers have to make the payment from Mobikwik’s website or Mobile App to avail the cash-back,” he added.

“It is our continuous endeavour to engage consumers regularly and reward them for timely payments. Our new offer with Mobikwik is a tangible step in that direction.” BSES spokesperson said

He also informed after paying the bill, the consumer will get a coupon (via SMS) from Mobikwik. A consumer has to redeem the coupons received in January, February and March 2018 between March 16 to 31  for paying BRPl/BYPl bill of April or its prepayment.

“Moreover, apart from E Wallets, consumers can pay their electricity bills conveniently at over 4000 locations, through a wide spectrum of options, including BSES drop boxes, credit and debit cards, net banking, auto debit, neighbourhood money n mobile and oxigen outlets, ITZ cash cards, bill payment kiosks, bank counters (IDBI, Bank of Baroda and Equitas), cheque in mail facility and RTGS / NEFT through banks for key consumers,” he said.
