HUDA asks for applications for plots

Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has invited applications from economically weaker section for allotment of 2-marla and 3-marla category plots in Sector 16, Karnal. The booking commences from January 4 and closes on February 5, 2018.

A spokesman of the Authority on Sunday said that under two-marla and three-marla categories, there were 20 and 145 plots, respectively. He said that 259 plots of two-marla have been kept under category of first right for occupants of Balmiki Basti, Sector 12 Karnal.

He said the allotment would be made on free hold basis through draw of lots. Only those persons are eligible to apply who are domicile of Haryana and whose family income from all sources does not exceed Rs three lakh per annum and who do not own a residential plot or house in the state in his or her name, spouse’s name or in the name of any dependent family members.

The spokesman said that all group ‘D’ Haryana Government employees, employees of its boards and corporations, municipal corporations and committees, improvement trust and cooperative banks of Haryana Government are eligible to apply provided they fulfil other eligibility conditions.

The prescribed application form containing detailed terms and conditions can be obtained on payment of Rs 50 from the office of Estate Officer, HUDA, Karnal and authorised bank branches of Punjab National Bank.
