Raj Saini portrays Guv Anandiben Patel

Art is something which is the best way of expressing oneself,” says the renowned artist of the city Raj Saini. The well known artist of city Raj Saini has prepared a portrait of Governor Anandiben Patel which he will present to her on Friday.

Raj Saini is a well known painter of the city and has been training the students from past 26 years. Raj Saini also said, “Painting is a way to forget about all the worries of life. A person gets a way to express his ideologies and emotions easily.”

Raj Saini is one of the known artists of the city and till now has gifted his masterpieces to many politicians and Bollywood actors. “I think I have gifted a portrait to every Governor of Madhya Pradesh since Mohammad Shafi Qureshi was the governor of the State. This was back in 1993,” he added.

Raj Saini’s mastery lies on creating unusual memories through usual things. He has picked one of the most famous pictures of Anandiben Patel which is usually run by Google. He has then turned it into a beautiful handmade painting over a canvas of 2X2 feet on oil painting which is breathtaking.

“We have a painting competition on Tuesday and the winners of the competition will be awarded by Anandiben Patel on Friday. When she will felicitate our kids of Jawahar Bal Bhavan in return we will present her the portrait,” informed Raj Saini.  It took around three days to complete the painting, Saini said.
