The Railways have always been in the forefront of nation building by creating better travel opportunities. Northern Railway has effectively contributed towards Prime Minister’s “Digital India” initiative under the visionary leadership of Minister of Railways in turning many Railway stations over the zone into platforms for Digital inclusion by providing free Wi-Fi service. In this regard entire Delhi-Ambala and Ambala- Chandigarh sections have been covered with free Wi-Fi facility at stations. RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a ‘Miniratna’ PSU under Ministry of Railways, has provided the facility.
Passengers will now be able to stay connected to free internet at all the stations of these two sections. With this all the stations in route of Delhi Chandigarh Shatabdi Express train are now enabled with high speed free Wi-Fi.
