25 cases of snatching solved with arrest of four snatchers

Dream to go on a foreign trip of four active snatchers with their family was put on hold after they fell in net of the Delhi Police. With their arrest the Delhi Police claimed to have solved 25 cases of robbery and snatching in national Capital. Police have also recovered 23 stolen mobile phones and two bikes from the possession of the accused.

The accused have been identified as Mashkoor alias Shahrukh (38) a resident of Loni in Ghaziabad, Shehnawaj (34) a resident of Khajuri Khas in Delhi, Irshad (30) and Shehnawaj (28), both residents of Sunder Nagri, Delhi. According to Seju P Kuruvilla, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Outer district, a tip off was received that four snatchers who used to snatch costly android mobile phones would gather in Mangolpuri Industrial Area, Phase-I, Delhi with the intent to sell the snatched mobile phones.
