CS fiat to remove shops from industrial areas

Chief Secretary Dr DK Tiwari today instructed Industry Secretary K Ravi Kumar to cancel the licenses of the shops running in the industrial area in view of complaints of the Industries Association and remove them from the area. At the same time, he instructed to move factories and hotels from the industrial area.

While holding a meeting with the representatives of all Industries associations here on Wednesday, the CS that the government is serious about giving the work of power supply to private hands and soon action will be taken. During the meeting the problems faced by the State's entrepreneurs were resolved on the spot. Also, the Secretaries of concerned departments were instructed to prepare the check list for all legal sanctions.

Dr Tiwari told representatives of the Industries Associations that the government is constantly reforming Ease of doing business in the State. It is being made online for transparency and timeliness. Take advantage of it and also give your feedback.

The associations demanded land for industrial park; on this the CS said that the government acquires land at a higher price than the market value, in which case it will not be beneficial for the entrepreneurs. He suggested them to own land at market price to build the park.

Government will give grant for the purpose, he said.

On the demand of the representatives of the Industries Associations, the CS said them to open a skill development center, in which government would cooperate. There is also a government policy related to this. The government will fund the training of people. At the same time, the government will also open a quality skill center if needed. On the demand of technology upgradation in the industry, the Association was asked to work out to give to the point proposal.

The CS took the matter of registration of old vehicles from the original registration place seriously and directed the Transport Secretary to take action against those who do not comply with the laws.

On the complaint about problems in the structural verification of factories every year, the CS instructed the Industry Secretary to resolve it permanently. Taking serious note of the problems being faced for the pollution certificate, Tiwari asked the officials of the pollution control board to immediately hold a meeting with the representatives of the association and resolve the matter. In addition, decisions were taken on the spot to solve problems related to export, land and credit.

The meeting was attended by Urban Development Secretary Ajoy Kumar Singh, Energy Secretary Vandana Dadel, Transport Secretary Pravin Toppo, IT Secretary Vinay Kumar Choubey and MD Power Distribution Corporation
