Additional Chief Secretary Energy Shri Mohammed Suleman said this during the inspection of the SCADA control room in the premises of MPPKVVCL, Indore.
Suleman said that there is a need to make metre data management more effective. All information must be available on one click. He said that a security system should be developed so that data does not get hacked.
ACS Suleman observed the SCADA system which is Indore’s modern technique of power distribution supervision and described it as the best among power distribution companies. He also gave instructions to reduce the number of tripping. Suleman instructed to send engineers of all the three distribution companies to Mumbai for further improvement and intensive study of SCADA for special training.
Suleman said that RDU that is metres with remote disconnection capacity should also be installed for consumers with low consumption. Managing Director Vikas Narwal gave information of meterisation, reducing loss, increasing revenue and other campaigns in power companies.
