A youth was killed and two other suffered injuries as lightning struck different parts of Peterwar on Sunday, police said.
According to report a youth identified as Daleshwar Mahto was killed and two others were injured after lightning struck them near
Tangtola village under the jurisdiction of Peterwar police station of Bokaro district, the police said.
The two youths had taken shelter under the tree during heavy rainl and thunderstorm. The two youths were admitted to a local hospital.
The Officer in-Charge of Peterwar police Station, Bipin Kumar said that the injured who are undergoing treatment have been identified as Manohar Mahto and Dhaneshwar Mahto.
