nA 100-beded hospital will be built in capital city Raipur under the aegis of South East Central Railways (SECR).
This was informed on Friday by Member of Parliament (MP), Raipur Sunil Soni to The Pioneer after a crucial meeting of railway administration with the MPs of the state.
"Railways administration has given a consent for establishment of a 100-bedded hospital in capital city and apart from railway employees it would also do treatments of patients referred by government under Ayushman Scheme”, the MP informed.
MPs Mohan Mandavi, Arun Sao, Chhaya Verma and Vijay Baghel were also present in the meeting of parliamentarians with railway administration.
Mandavi on the other hand proposed for extending railway track to the Bastar headquarters Jagdalpur from capital Raipur.
Direct rail link between Bastar and Raipur will pave the way for development of the backward region, he said in the meeting.
