A motorcycle expedition from Mana, in Chamoli district to Kargil in Jammu and Kashmir undertaken by the personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Rifles (JAKRIF) reached Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun on Tuesday. The expedition was flagged off from Mana on July 6 and it would culminate at Kargil on July 26, 2019 on the eve of ‘ Kargil victory day’.
On the day, the 22 member expedition team led by Major Ritwick Singh of 13th JAKRIF visited the IMA and interacted with Gentlemen Cadets (GC) undergoing training.
The team was felicitated by Deputy Commandant and chief instructor of the IMA, Major General G S Rawat. He appreciated the team for its efforts and the cause for which they have undertaken this expedition.
