UP road accident, another migrant of Bokaro dies

The death toll in the Auraiya road accident in Uttar Pradesh involving migrant workers returning Bokaro rose to 13 with another man succumbing to his injuries on Saturday night and the dead body of the deceased was brought to his native village Khirabeda by the district administration, said DC Bokaro  Mukesh Kumar.

According to district administration, Jogeshwar Kalindi(33) a road accident victim and seriously injured in Auraiya, UP, died in Safai Medical College hospital Hospital during treatment on Saturday.  On Monday afternoon, the dead body of the deceased was brought to his native village Khirabeda by the officials of the district administration.  So far this is the 13th victim of the accident and the seventh person of village Khirabeda. 

Earlier, six people from the same village and five from Gopalpur village and one from Babudih village of the same police station area have died. 

The deceased identified as Jogeshwar Kalindi son of Taran Kalindi.  The deceased is left behind by mother Malati Devi wife Ashoka Devi, a son Rishi Kumar and daughter Kripa Kumari. His brother Umesh Kalindi was also injured in the road accident when he was coming back home.  Umesh narrowly survived the incident. He recovered after treatment.

On hearing the news of the death, the wife of the deceased, Ashoka Devi and mother Malti Devi, are constantly becoming unconscious.

On the occasion DDC Ravi Ranjan Mishra, BDO Chas Sanjay Sandilya, SDPO Bhagwan Das, Inspector Manoj Gupta, Station In-charge Vimal Lakda, District Board members Rajesh Mahato, Hazari Mahato, Yogeshwar Mahato, Hiralal Mahato, Jagarnath Mahato etc. were present.

 

Former minister cum Chandankiyari MLA Amar Kumar Bauri went to Gopalpur and Khirabera villages and provided rice and cash to the families of the deceased.
