A team of Principals of eleven ITIs of Bihar led by Director of Employment & Training Ranjita visited the Government ITI here on Friday to observe its innovative practices like technical knowhow applied in different trades, for which it achieved global recognition recently. The objective of this visit by such a large number of Bihar ITI Principals accompanied by an IAS officer was that the Bihar Government is keen to make reforms and try to implement some of the best available innovative knowhow in that State. The team visited different trades, including scrap museum, scrap park, innovation centre in Covid-19 tools, and conveyed its high appreciation for the innovative practices. The team appreciated the quality of technical skills of both the faculty members and students, who have excelled in their respective domains.
The Government ITI has created a special identity in the field of technical education and innovative skill in the entire country, the Bihar team opined. Brahmapur ITI Principal Dr Rajat Kumar Panigrahi accompanied the team to different units and demonstrated some innovative practices and new products made by the institute.
