Chandigarh reports 211 fresh cases

Even as the COVID-19 cases are on surge in the city, the UT Administration has adopted a “wait and watch” policy and decided not to go for any fresh restrictions.  The city on Thursday reported 211 fresh positive and the active cases jumped to 1466.

Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore on Thursday reviewed the COVID-19 situation in the city and decided not to impose any fresh restrictions in the city.

Chandigarh on Thursday reported 211 fresh positive cases. The active cases crossed 1400-mark and stood at 1466 in the city till the evening. In a relief, no fresh death was reported in the last 24 hours and the death count was at 359.
