The active Covid-19 cases jumped to 1597 in Chandigarh as 214 fresh positive cases surfaced on Friday.
One more person succumbed to the virus taking the total toll to 360.
The total case tally reached 24017 in the city, as per the health bulletin released by Chandigarh Health Department.
A maximum of 13 fresh cases surfaced in Manimajra followed by 12 cases
in Sector 35. 2.87 lakh samples have so far been tested in the city.
