The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress and the media advisor Surendra Kumar has said the presence of governor, lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh on the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Haldwani on Thursday is against the dignity of the position of governor of the state. Addressing the media persons here on Thursday the Congress leader said that the governor is a constitutional post and he should maintain a distance from such political programmes and the events of a particular party.
