Congress’ Mahagama MLA Deepika Pandey Singh has now been included in the national team of Congress. Apart from the National Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), she has been appointed as the State In-Charge of Uttarakhand.
The Party’s National General Secretary, KC Venugopal has informed in this regard through a letter issued to the media. Singh ‘s responsibility has increased in the new role.
Assembly elections are to be held in Uttarakhand next year. Congress is trying to oust the BJP Government from the State and come back to power. In this, the party has entrusted the responsibility to Deepika Pandey to get the expected results.
In such a situation, now they will be engaged in preparing and implementing their strategies. It is believed that the party leader, who was elected as the National Secretary, is one of the people close to Congress MP Rahul
Gandhi. Rahul has been continuously expressing confidence in Singh.
