LLM admission process in VBU has started : VC

Vinoba Bhave University Vice Chancellor, MN Dev today said that the process of teaching of master's course in Law has been started in Vinoba Bhave University. This is the only university in Jharkhand that has started this course. The session, which is six month late, will be regularised from June 2022. The proposal for new Ph.D regulation has been sent to the Chancellor office for approval, he added.

The VC said that they have already started the process of automation of the finance and examination department. We will start the issue of salary slip to every employee from next year, he added.

He further said that the construction of a tribal study center is going on in the campus. We have also sent a proposal for two boys hostels in the campus.

Dr. Dev said that they have started the process of conducting sports competition at the college level. "We will organise the annual sports in the campus in January 2022. The convocation will be held in the month of February," he added. The VC said that the admission in undergraduate courses has been completed in the colleges. 52177 students get the admission in the session 21-24. At the post graduate level 4340 students in the PG center of colleges and 1873 students in the campus have taken the admission in the session 2021-23. "We will appoint the teachers on contract in the month of January and the lack of teachers can be solved. This will be on a class basis. Teachers will get 600 per class or 36000 in a month. The Ph.D. regulation will be implemented after getting the approval of the chancellor office," he said.

In the press meet the pro vice chancellor Ajit Kumar Sinha, financial advisor of the university SK Singh and other officials were present.
