Ahead of the oath-taking ceremony of US President-elect Joe Biden on Wednesday, noted Bhubaneswar-based miniature artist L Eswar Rao crafted a miniature of Biden inside a glass bottle.
Rao used his craftsmanship to extend his best wishes to Biden. The miniature carried a photo of Biden along with a message reading ‘congratulations’. Notably, Biden and Kamala Harris were sworn in as the 46th President and the 49th Vice-President of the United States, respectively, on Wednesday. Kamala Harris has made history as America’s first woman and first Black to take the office of Vice-President.
Earlier, Rao has created several miniatures, including an art of Sardar Vallabhai Patel using soap on the National Unity Day in 2018, a church inside a bottle for Christmas in 2019 and a woman’s miniature on a pencil nib as a tribute to all women on the occasion of International Women’s Day in 2020.
