Weather conditions have turned normal after rainfall for 3-4 days followed by hot weather conditions in the State capital on Sunday; several regions of the State have been witnessing rainfall in the past 24 hours.The conditions for movement of monsoon are favourable and would arrive in the State in the next two weeks.
Most of the regions witnessed dip in day temperatures after thundery activities and rainfall was witnessed across the state. The day temperatures dipped below 40 degree Celsius almost in the entire state and Nowgong recorded 40 degree Celsius on Sunday which was the highest day temperature of the state.
West Madhya Pradesh would witness thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds for next 4-5 days while east Madhya Pradesh would witness thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds after two days.
The day temperatures dipped in the past 3-4 days Shajapur, Ujjain and Khargone dipped to 34 degree Celsius.
The Jabalpur, Hoshangabad, Shahdol,Sagar, Rewa, Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal and Chambal divisions recorded rainfall in the past 24 hours.Semaria recorded good amount of rainfall and recorded 8 cm of the rainfall which was the highest rainfall recorded in the state.Cloudy conditions prevailed from the morning and dense clouds poured late in the afternoon for a brief period in the state capital.
Met department issued warning of thundery activities and lightening and speedy winds in Hoshangabad, Sagar, Jabalpur, Rewa and Shahdol divisions and Vidisha, Raisen, Bhopal, Khandwa, Khargone, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Guna and Shivpuri districts.
