Nimari Gayan, Bhil tribal dance performed at MPSTM

Under Gamak series of events, soulful performances were held at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum on Wednesday.

‘Nimari Gayan’ by Sunil Jhunje and group, Indore and Bhil tribal dance 'Bhagoria and Dharwa' by Ishwar Gundia and group, Jhabua were performed.

The presentation started with 'Nimari Gaon' by Sunil Jhunje and group. He began his perdormance with Aija Mhara Ghera, Taro Raatlo Rumal.

 It was followes with Chhe Chido Chhedi Chhedi Chidi, Ab Chhoti Nee Omar Hai Mhari, Ramudi Gamme-Gamay School, Ghoomane Ja Su Re Balam, Why Miche Thigi Lao, Bago-Bago Awre Bhai, Nacha-gawa re hamu mauj kara, tari jamsay woh pori and bagh tanda.

He was accompanied on Sahagyan and Harmonium by Vikram Gundia, on Dholak by Jugal Kishore Sargara, on Tasha by Sachin Pandey and Gaurav (Aanchal) on Ghangaru.

 Jhunje has been singing for the last fifteen years, you have performed in many prestigious forums in the country, for singing Madhya Pradesh Kishore Kumar Samman in the year 2014 and in the Golden Book of World Records in the year 2018.

He had also broadcasted Nimadi folk songs on the channels.

The second performance was a Bhil tribal dance 'Bhagoria and Dharwa' by  Ishwar Gundia and group.

The Bhils are the main tribes inhabiting the Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar and Barwani regions of Madhya Pradesh.

The haats, which are held seven days before Holi in Phagun month, are danced with traditional colorful clothes, jewelery by Bhil youths and girls with full enthusiasm and enthusiasm, which is called Bhagoria dance. After harvesting, the community comes to these haats for year round maintenance. In Bhagoria dance, various footsteps, Pali, Chakripali and Pyramid dance postures are the center of attraction.

Dharwa dance is mainly performed on the occasion of marriage, in which the men and women dance with different hand-postures in a circular circle approximately one arm's distance.

Dhol, thali, shehnai, ghungroo and kundi instruments are used in it.
