RNTU NCC cadets excel at sailing camp

Cadets Rishita Srivastava and Rishi Bhagoria of NCC Naval Wing of Rabindranath Tagore University performed brilliantly in the race organized at Special Sailing Camp on Wednesday.

This camp was recently organized by Indian Navy at Naval Sailing Node (NSN) in Khanugaon, Bhopal. The camp ended with the race of NCC cadets from All India. In which Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Directorate became the winner.

 Cadet Rishita Srivastava was selected for Special Sailing Camp Level One from All India Yachting Regatta along with Rishi Bhagoria also participated in this camp. In this camp, the techniques of sailing and advanced selling are taught as well as practicals are also done.

 

 The level one certificate is obtained after passing 72 hours of sailing, theory classes, written test and interview in this camp training.

Cadet Rishita Srivastava participated in the prestigious All India Yachting Regatta at Indian Naval Base INS Chilka, Orissa. Cadet Rishita Srivastava was selected during the training camp organized by 1st MP Naval Unit in Bhopal.

After this training camp, selected cadets from Bhopal participated in Inter Group Competition at Jabalpur. 24 selected cadets from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh participated in Jabalpur. From here 6 cadets were finally selected. Who got an opportunity to present Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Directorate in All India Yachting Regatta.

On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University Bramhaprakash Pethia, Registrar Vijay Singh and NCC Officer Durga Verma congratulated and congratulated the cadets Rishita Srivastava and Rishi Bhagoria.
