Dr Namita Mishra, Associate Professor, Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi, in collaboration with Dr Ramesh Chandra Panda, Chief Scientist, Wegrow Private Limited, and the other associates have designed a Utility Patent titled “A system for Digital Transformation of SHG Funding and Savings” which is designed to address the need for a system for flexible and reliable digital transformation of SHG funding and savings and to improve business intelligence.
The application for grant of patent so submitted to the Republic of South Africa under its Patents Act 1978 has been accepted. This invention is a catalyst development for the SHG movement of the country. Further, it will act as an important aspect of the inclusive growth as it will promote the habit of saving which initiates the cycle of economic development including social, and political and knowledge empowerment as reported.
