The union territory of Chandigarh on Monday reported 148 fresh Covid cases. With this, the active cases crossed 1100-mark in the city. The total case tally reached 23244 while the active cases were 1166 till the evening, according to the Chandigarh Health Department’s evening bulletin.
The recovery rate of COVID-19 positive cases in Chandigarh stood at 93.4 percent. The active ratio of cases stood at five percent while the growth rate of cases was 0.5 percent. The case fatality rate was recorded at 1.5 percent in the city. 2.80 lakh samples have so far been tested in the city, in which 1765 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
