SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, has tied up with HCL Technologies Limited to open an in-vitro diagnostic lab on their premises.
The facility was inaugurated by the vice-chancellor of SRMIST, Dr C Muthamizhchelvan and the senior vice president of HCL, R Balamurugan.
SRMIST had signed an MoU with HCL to undertake collaborative device and assay development programmes along with other collaborative R&D programs, verification and validation and other sustenance activities. As a part of the MoU, HCL IVD Lab was established and inaugurated in the SRMIST Kattankulathur Campus.
Also, SRMIST’s registrar, Dr S Ponnusamy, the dean of Research, Dr B Neppolian and the coordinator of IIISM, Dr R C Satish Kumar were present on the occasion. From HCL Technologies Ltd Mohammed Farid, Praveen Kumar Mavila and M Chockalingam were present during the inauguration.
