Activists of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have protested against Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's film Pathan in Bhopal. The activists were protesting against insulting the saffron color and raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram. They also demanded to ban the film. Notably, in the film Pathan, Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have danced wearing saffron clothes, which Hindu organisations are protesting all over the country.

Bajrang Dal alleges that the Hindu society is being defamed deliberately. At the same time, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers together created ruckus in Bhedaghat of Jabalpur. Along with this, it was announced that the shooting of Shahrukh Khan's film Return Ticket and Danki, which is happening in Jabalpur, will not be allowed. In view of the demonstration of VHP and Bajrang Dal, heavy police force has been deployed on the spot.

In Bhedaghat's Panchavati and Bypass, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Bajrang Dal workers first recited Hanuman Chalisa and submitted a memorandum to the police and lodged a complaint. They alleged that Shah Rukh and Deepika have insulted the Hindu religion by wearing saffron clothes in their film Pathan, which will not be tolerated.

City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Priyanka Shukla said, “A shooting of Shah Rukh Khan’s movie is going on at Bhedaghat after taking permission from collector’s office. The activists of Bajrang Dal and VHP has submitted a memo to Tehsildar to stop the shooting”.

Activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have warned that neither Shah Rukh Khan's films will be allowed to be shot in Jabalpur nor will his films be allowed to be screened in malls here.
