Promise of service, security and orderliness in MP to NRIs: Thakur

The heart of incredible India 'Madhya Pradesh' is beautiful and rich in all respects including historical, archaeological, cultural. Just as the heart is of utmost importance in the body, in the same way, if you want to understand the culture and rites of India, then you have to come to Madhya Pradesh.

Minister of Tourism, Culture and Religious Trust and Endowment Usha Thakur was addressing the travel agents, tour operators, media and other stakeholders at the Tourism Roadshow in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Indian High Commissioner to Malaysia BN Reddy was also present. Giving information about the tourist places of the state, Minister Sushri Thakur invited all citizens of Malaysia and NRIs to come to Madhya Pradesh.

Minister Thakur said that this time Madhya Pradesh has got the good fortune of organizing Bhartiya Pravasi Diwas on 9th January. The registration for this is going to start from October 2.

The tourism department is working to include Buddha circuit, Omkar circuit, Shaktipeeth circuit, three UNESCO heritage circuits etc. in the tour package for the visiting citizens.

All the tourists will be able to choose the tour package as per their choice at the time of their registration. The tourism department promises you more service, security and orderliness.

Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla informed about the various exciting activities to be done on the natural beauty of the state, especially the attractive water-forms, dams.

He said that Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is being organized in the cleanest city of the country, Indore.

The program ended with a lucky draw, in which the winners were given a package of 4 days and 3 nights of Madhya Pradesh tour as prizes. Tour and travel agents from Malaysia including C Sushma, First Secretary, Indian High Commission, Dato Thangavelu, President of MITTA, Gunasekaran, President of GOPIO and Ganeesh Ramaswamy of MATTA were present.
