Punjabi Sahitya Academy organizes Shaan-e-Virasat

Under Amrit Mahotsav Punjabi Sahitya Academy organized Shaan-e-Virasat program on Sunday.

Under the joint aegis of Gwalior Gurdwara Phool Bagh Prabandhak Committee, a beautiful Dastar decoration competition was organized under the aegis of Punjabi Sahitya Academy and Gurdwara Phool Bagh Prabandhak Committee.

Director of Punjabi Sahitya Akademi, Neeru Singh Giani told that various regions of India The turban is tied in different styles in India. The turban is considered a symbol of pride and pride of the Sikhs. Turban is a beautiful symbol of Indian culture in different religions and in India. The Khalsa was decorated by Guru Gobind Singh on the occasion of Baisakhi to protect the religion. Before this Khalsa Sajna Diwas, Shan-e-Virasat Dastar decoration competition was organized in different areas in Gwalior division.

In this event youth from 6 years to 15 years and above participated. It was their final competition on Sunday. Earlier, competition was organized in Dabra Gharsondhi, Mohana Gohad and many children of surrounding areas. All the participants were given appreciation letters and medals. Cash gifts will be presented for the attractive gifts of this competition.

The jury of the programme included Sardar JP Singh Giani, Hanumat Singh Kochhar, Kulwant Singh Juneja, Surendra Singh Sachdeva, Swaran Singh Aulakh, Kamaljit Singh prominently and in the program Sunny Sandhu, Harpal Singh Juneja, Harvinder Singh Juneja, Sarvjit Singh Giani, Prabh. Simar Singh Sethi, Gurpreet Singh, Tejendra Vir Singh, Trilok Singh, Harmeet Singh Sethi Jaskaran Singh were present.
