Chhattisgarh has started the process of regularizing unauthorized development through the Chhattisgarh Anadhikrit Vikas Ka Niyamitikaran Adhiniyam (Shanshodhan) in the larger interests of citizens.
An official communiqué on Friday said applications for the regularization can be submitted to concerned Municipal Corporation or Town and Country Planning office for all types of constructions that came up before July 14, 2022
The new process is aimed at bringing more transparency and ease the regularization process, the communiqué said.
According to the Town and Country Planning Directorate, the applications to regularize unauthorized development can be submitted till July 14, 2023.
All types of unauthorized developments can be regularized including residential, educational, commercial, non-commercial and industrial areas, it said.
During the regularization, the development over the land other than that identified land-use in the Master Plan can also be regularized, it added.
