Monday, 06 March 2023 | Staff Reporter | RAIPUR

Addressing the people on the eve of Budget 2023-24's presentation, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said it will be a ‘Bharose ka budget’.

The trust which has given the state the strength to become ‘Nava Chhattisgarh’ has led to a working style and pro-people policies followed by the government, he said.

The Chief Minister will table the budget on March 6 in the assembly.

He said earlier the people used to identify Chhattisgarh for Naxalite violence. It affected tourists. People's perspectives have changed. Now people across the country are eager to visit the state.

Bollywood actors are utilizing the state for shooting films and web series. All this has been possible with public participation, he said.

The other states are adopting the state's education and health models.

He said the state has started giving shape to Mahatma Gandhi's concept of Gram Swaraj and the       policy of justice. And it has become one of the best economically managed states.

He said the new budget will give a new reality to the dreams of the state. But there is responsibility on the shoulders of the people to identify those who have filled the state with               â€˜negativity’.
