To mark the beginning of construction for a new industrial facility in the city, Chief Minister Hemant Soren performed rituals for the expansion project of Tinplate Company of India Limited (TCIL). The Chief Minister said that his government will help industries in the state to grow.
TCIL laid the foundation stone of the CRM-III (Cold Rolling Mill) unit at its premises. Tata Steel is investing more than Rs 2,000 crore in this project. 1,000 people will directly get employment. Indirectly 5 to 7 thousand people will get employment.
The Chief Minister said that his government would help a lot in the development of industries in the state. CM Hemant Soren said on Monday that he constantly remains in touch with all the industrial houses in the state.
“Just as today the foundation stone has been laid for the expansion of The Tinplate Company of India Limited. I hope that this work will be completed on time, due to which the people here will get direct and indirect employment. This has always been the thinking of the government. Employment will be created if industries are set up in the state. Policies should be made for this so that more and more industries are set up. After the formation of the government, the industrial policy was made. In this sequence, cooperation of many industrial houses was received. People from the Tata group were also present during the launch of the industry policy. Better results have been seen. It is the result of the industrial policy that today Bhoomi Pujan was done for the expansion of TCIL. Even before this, expansion of the cement factory was done in Bokaro and production has also started from there,” said Chief Minister Hemant Soren while speaking as the chief guest at the Bhoomi Pujan program of TCIL's expansion project.
The Chief Minister said that the Tata group has played a big role in the development of this country and the state. The government's effort is to strengthen the relationship with the industrial houses. Every possible effort is being made for this. The construction work of Tata Cancer Hospital has been completed. Soon it will be dedicated to the people of the state. The government has strongly taken several steps to promote the tourism industry. Many works are also being done for how Jharkhand's tourism should progress.
