Kamal Nath inaugurates Nari Samman Yojana from Chhindwara

On the launch of Nari Samman Yojana 1,02,406 registrations were done, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Chief Kamal Nath inaugurated it from Chhindwara on on Wednesday, scheme was launched simultaneously in all the districts. Under the scheme, Rs 1500 per month would be provided to women when the Congress would come to power and every month gas cylinder would cost only Rs 500 only.

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President and former Chief Minister  Kamal Nath inaugurated the Nari Samman Yojana from Parasia in Chhindwara. On the same day, senior leaders of the party launched the scheme in every district of the entire state. Although it was the day of the launch of the scheme, but on the very first day the women power of Madhya Pradesh accepted the Nari Samman Yojana whole heartedly.

According to the data received from all the districts of the state till 7 pm on May 9, 1,02,406 forms were filled on the first day.  Prakash Jain, Vice President of MP Congress and in-charge of the scheme said this in a statement issued today.

Jain said that women from all sections of the society showed enthusiasm in the registration of Nari Samman Yojana. On the first day, Kamal Nath,  Digvijay Singh, Dr. Govind Singh, Suresh Pachauri, Arun Yadav, Kantilal Bhuria including former ministers and Congress MLAs got the women to fill the forms of Nari Samman Yojana with their own hands.

Jain said that leaders and workers from the booth level to the top level in the entire state are editing the forms for Nari Samman Yojana. The Congress party is trying to make all the women voters of Madhya Pradesh fill the forms of Nari Samman Yojana and inform them about the benefits of this scheme.

Jain said that today, in a tweet, Kamal Nath has appealed to the women power of the state to participate in the Nari Samman Yojana in maximum numbers. Nath also said in his tweet that if the demon of inflation has to be removed from the state, then every woman will have to be given her respect. Nari Samman Yojana is an initiative in this direction.

Jain said that Congress party workers are going door-to-door to fill forms related to the scheme and putting stickers of Nari Samman Yojana on every house. At the same time, the information about the work done in the public interest during the time of Kamal Nath government and especially the work of women empowerment is being disseminated to every house. It is noteworthy that respecting the women power of the state, the Kamal Nath government has increased the assistance amount for marriage of girls from Rs. 28000  to Rs. 51000. The pension amount for old and widowed women was Rs.150 which was increased to Rs 600. Every month electricity bill was Rs.100 till 100 units. The women of the state had benefited the most from these decisions of the Kamal Nath government.

Jain said that once the Congress government is formed in the state, women will be respected once again, atrocities on women will reduce, schemes will be started for better health of women. Nari Samman Yojana will be its first phase.
