A workshop on integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Management Information System (MIS) was organized at the headquarter of Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company, an undertaking of Urban Development and Housing Department.
The workshop was presided over by Deputy Project Director Technical PC Jain. GIS experts Girish Kumar Jha, Suneet Manjekar, Archit Buddhiraj and Krishnendu MB made a detailed presentation as subject matter experts.
Experts said that the integration of MIS and GIS will help in live monitoring of water supply and sewerage projects, apart from this the work of revenue collection for the civic body will also be easier. This technology will also strengthen the grievance redressal system.
The workshop was coordinated by Imran Parvez, Officer-in-Charge, MIS.
