Dr Mahesh Verma has been reappointed as the vice chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He was formerly the dean of the Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi. He is also the president of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) India Division and the International Association for Disability and Oral Health (IADH) India Chapter.
Dr Verma's reappointment was announced in an official order issued by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) of the Delhi government. The order states that Dr Verma will serve another term or until he reaches the age of 70, whichever comes first.
