The AMOFOI and the Freethought Party of India (FPI) held a seminar on the topic, “Both India and the world must go in for one-child family, priestless love marriage by exchange of garlands, prayerless Copernican English medium education for all, Mixed PR System of election of the German model and Global Government raised on the Swiss principles of governance.”

President of the Milita Odisha Nisanibaran Abhijan and former MLA Padma Charan Nayak inaugurated it while AMOFOI president Manas Jena presided. Of all the 5-points of FPI, Jena highlighted the importance of the PR System in order to ensure political justice in each and every country of the world.

Atheist Prof Dhaneswar Sahoo, communication expert Sudhansu Dhada, social activist Malay Kumar Tripathy, joint secretary of FPI Gandharb Nayak, Madhusudan Yadav of Bahujan Samaj Party, Dr Bidhuprava Rath, Banshidhar Parida and Tapan Mishra among others spoke on the topic.

Speaking on the occasion, B Ramchandra CST Voltaire described himself as a “Neo-Baimundi” and expressed his deep anguish that more and more people are getting into blind beliefs in India because PM Narendra Modi and CM Naveen Patnaik and other political leaders are putting more stress on the cult of Ram and Lord Jagannath.
