BHEL ED awarded for his contribution in implementing official language

The prestigious award of "Madhya Pradesh Rashtriya Bhasha Prachar Samiti, Hindi Sevi Samman Year 2024" for non-Hindi speakers was organized at Hindi Bhavan premises, Shyamala Hills, Bhopal on Wednesdayday. His Excellency Mangubhai Patel, Governor of Madhya Pradesh was present as the Chief Guest in the program.

In the program Tamil speaking SM Ramanathan, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal was honoured by Mangubhai Patel, Governor of Madhya Pradesh with a memento, shawl and shreefal.

This award was given to him for his notable contribution in the field of implementation of official language, use of Hindi in technical field, emphasis on digitization and use of Hindi in financial sector. The program started with garlanding the portraits of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, lighting of lamps and singing the national anthem.

This award is given every year to non-Hindi speaking personalities who have made a notable contribution in the use of official language. in the offices, undertakings and banks of the Central Government. Those who have worked with commitment and special interest to increase the use of official language Hindi in their office/undertaking.

On this occasion, Chairman of M.P.R.B. Prachar Samiti Dr. Sukhdev Prasad Dubey, Minister Director Kailash Chandra Pant, Raghunandan Sharma, Vice Chairman, Prof. Ranjana Aragade, Dr. Sanjay Saxena and Additional General Manager (HR) of BHEL, Bhopal  Arif Ahmed Siddiqui, Deputy General Manager (HR) Prajjal Adak and official language team and a large number of Hindi lovers were present.
