The Chhattisgarh BJP will undertake a five-day ‘Gaon Chalo’ (go to village) campaign from February 7 to 11 to tell the people about different schemes launched by the Modi government.
BJP state General Secretary Sanjay Shrivastava told reporters that the campaign aims to increase the saffron party’s vote share to more than 51 per cent in Chhattisgarh.
During the campaign, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, BJP state Chief Kiran Singh Deo, cabinet ministers, elected MPs, MLAs, public representatives, party leaders and workers will spend at least a day in the villages.
