The effect of Western Disturbance and Cyclonic Circulation System will remain in Madhya Pradesh and it will be cloudy in Gwalior, Chambal and Rewa divisions. Light rain may also occur at a few places in the next 24 hours. 

Earlier on Wednesday, there was light rain in many cities including Gwalior and Shivpuri.

Due to clouds in Gwalior, the day temperature dropped to 4.4 degrees on Wednesday. Day temperatures dropped in Raisen, Betul, Bhopal, Dhar, Narmadapuram, Khandwa, Khargone, Pachmarhi, Ratlam, Shivpuri, Ujjain, Damoh, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Nowgong, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Sidhi, Tikamgarh and Umaria. Even on Thursday, the day temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees.

Met issued warning of thundery activities in Chambal divsion, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Chattarpur, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior and Datia districts in the next 24 hours.

During 24 hours, at some places in the districts of Chambal, Rewa and Sagar and Gwalior division rain was recorded at some places in the district and the weather remained mainly dry in the districts of all the remaining divisions.

The night temperatures dropped significantly in the districts of Gwalior and Shahdol divisions and there was no significant change in the temperatures in the districts of all the remaining divisions. They are Nammadpuram, were above normal in the districts of Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Sagar divisions; It was quite high in the districts of Rewa and Shahdol divisions and in the districts of all the remaining divisions.

According to scientists of IMD, Bhopal, due to Western Disturbance and Cyclonic Circulation System, south-westerly winds are bringing moisture from the Arabian Sea towards northern Madhya Pradesh. Also, the maximum speed of jet stream winds in India is up to 330 km per hour. Due to this, the temperature of the state is also falling.

It will be cloudy in Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi and Singrauli districts.

Thunderstorm, light rain would be witnessed in Bhind, Datia, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi and Singrauli districts.
