JSOU to provide Pre University Certificate Course

Jharkhand State Open University (JSOU) will provide the newly launched course subjects based on Pre-University Certificate Course for 10th, 12th other skills.

Addressing the press meet, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. TN Sahu said that the university is dedicated to distance education.

The founder of International Virtual Education Council, Shabab Alam said that the International Virtual Education Council is promoting distance education and online education system not only in the country but also in many other countries. "After the crisis period of Corona, ICVE is working in a special way to connect the whole country and the world with the mainstream of education. Along with this, it is paying special attention to the candidates deprived of education, especially SC, ST, OBC and tribal community so that the virtual education system can be strengthened in developing countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc.," he said.

JSOU Registrar Prof GK Singh, Finance Officer, Dr Run Mandal, Coordinator, Dr Prem Sagar Keshari, Vikas Maurya, Dr Manoj Agariya, ICVE Country Head L Muthuvelraj Rajasekar, Vice President, Ajay Sahu, General Secretary, Acharya Mahendra Pareek and Secretary Navneet Tyagi etc. were present in the press conference.

JSOU is a university established by the Jharkhand government. It is the only university in the state dedicated to distance education, which is conducting new professional courses. So that by encouraging the education level in the state and the skills inherent in the youth, positive initiatives can be taken to promote employment, self-employment and vocational education systems in the state with ease and simplicity.
