Kanhaiya Mittal to perform at Bhajan Sandhya today

Monday, 19 August 2024 | PNS | Jamshedpur

The much-awaited Bhajan Sandhya organized by the Har Har Mahadev Seva Sangh will take place on August 19 on the last Monday of the holy month of Sawan. The event will be held at the Sakchi Gurudwara Ground starting at 6:30 pm.

This year's Bhajan Sandhya is set to feature renowned Bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal, who will be performing for the first time on the Har Har Mahadev Seva Sangh stage. Mittal, accompanied by his singing and instrumental troupe, is expected to draw a large crowd of devotees.

The event will be grandly organized with a special concrete pandal constructed at the Sakchi Gurudwara Ground to accommodate thousands of attendees. A grand stage will be set, and a Shivling made of ice, designed to resemble Baba Barfani, will be installed at the entrance gate. The evening will commence with local Bhajan singer Krishnamurthy performing melodious bhajans, and the program will conclude with a formal Aarti. Arrangements for Bhog Prasad and drinking water will be made available for all devotees.

While entry to the event is free, it will be strictly controlled via invitation cards distributed by the Sangh. Attendees are urged to arrive and take their seats before the program begins at 6:30 pm. Some sections of the seating area will be reserved, and devotees are requested to cooperate in maintaining order during the event.

The Sakchi Kalimati Road will be adorned with festive decorations, and comprehensive arrangements for electrical lighting, traffic management, and fire safety have been made. A team of volunteers will be on hand to assist attendees. The district and police administration are providing full support to ensure the event's smooth conduct, which will be dedicated entirely to Bhole Baba. Devotees are encouraged to participate with enthusiasm and discipline.

This year marks the 24th edition of the Har Har Mahadev Seva Sangh's Bhajan Sandhya. As in previous years, the Sangh will honor four individuals who have made significant contributions to society with the prestigious 'Sangh Ratna Seva Award.' This tradition has been upheld for the past decade, and the recipients of this year's awards will be announced soon.
