The Department of Physiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal organized a significant lecture on "Lifestyle Modification for Health and Wellbeing" on Friday. Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal emphasized the urgent need for individuals to adopt healthier lifestyle practices to combat the rising incidence of lifestyle-related disorders. He underscored the importance of such educational initiatives in empowering people with the knowledge to make informed health decisions

The session was delivered by Dr. Jyotsna Gumasta, Professor of Physiology at AIIMS Nagpur, renowned for her extensive research and expertise in the field of physiology and lifestyle medicine. In her lecture, Dr. Gumasta highlighted the critical role of lifestyle choices in enhancing overall health and wellbeing. She discussed various aspects of lifestyle modification, including diet, exercise, stress management, and sleep hygiene, providing evidence-based recommendations to improve quality of life and prevent chronic diseases.
