Nilamber Pitamber university has deposited Rs 6,43. 32,282 with the electricity department here for underground cabling. However this work is yet to be started.
Acting registrar of the Nilamber Pitamber university Dr Mritunjay Kumar said the university has deposited the required amount with the electricity department and now it is the electricity crisis that is to make us rid of the electricity issues.
Executive engineer electricity Shambhu Nath Choudhary said the electricity department is not sleeping over it.
As the electricity department is to do underground cabling for the Nilamber Pitamber university the electricity department needs NoC from the road, NHAI and municipal corporation.
Choudhury said he has written a letter to all three roads, NHAI and municipal court to issue us the NoC but in vain.
He said he would be soon sending reminders to all these three road NHAI and municipal corporations to give us NoC for laying cables underground.
