Police issues helpline number to inform about misleading posts

In an innovative initiative of Bhopal Police, a helpline number was introduced where people may inform about misleading, offensive, obscene, inflammatory and hurting religious sentiments on social media.

The Helpline number is +91 7587628272 under Bhopal Commissionerate Jurisdiction .The main objective of this initiative is to effectively prevent activities such as creating fake IDs on social media during elections, spoiling someone's image, posting obscene content, hurting religious sentiments, inciting people.

Police  has issued a special helpline number +917587628272 to deal with obscene, inflammatory, offensive and fake posts on social media under Bhopal Commissionerate jurisdiction during elections.

 Citizens can easily give suggestions related to social media by calling this helpline number or through WhatsApp.

Immediate action will be taken on the suggestions received on the helpline.

 Use the helpline and collaborate in creating a healthy online environment.
