There was the observance of the traditional gaiety and elegance associated with the Sarhul Puja here too.
Never in the history of this police line Sarhul Puja was ever held or celebrated. It was a happy beginning today.
The idea of holding Sarhul Puja was of the SP Palamu Reeshma Ramesan who took part in it also.
SP and others planted Saal tree on this occasion and a corner here was dedicated to the Jhakra Tar or the Sarna Asthal.
The police line echoed with the Sarna Geet.
Reeshma Ramesan said "My constabulary and police men's association had wished this Sarhul celebration on the ground which I granted and I made it a point to take part in it."
