Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ concludes in State

Wednesday, 07 February 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

On the final day of his ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ Congress former National Chief, Rahul Gandhi reached Khunti, Gumla and Simdega district of the State on Tuesday. A huge crowd of people were present to see a glimpse of their National leader. Gandhi started ‘Yatra’ by paying homage to ‘Dharti Aba Birsa Munda’ in Khunti.

Addressing the people in Khunti the party leader said that the former Central Government led by Congress brought a land reform bill which was in favor of tribal, poor and dalits but now the Central Government’s land bill is only to provide benefit to its business community friends like Adani and Ambani.  Local and Tribal people are not getting their due rights in the present Central Government, he added.

Attacking the Central Government on Tribal, Backward and Dalit issue the party Leader said that this is not privatization but theft from Dalit, Tribal, Backward and Minority. “Get the list of Adani's companies. Look at the management team. Not one backward will be found. No tribal will be found. The entire capital is being handed over to one person. Roads, power bridges, energy, everything was handed over to Adani. This one person is getting all the defense contracts. The PM of India is pinning everyone to this one person. There is a thinking behind how many backward people there are in this Country," he said.

The first leg of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra successfully ended in Jharkhand. Transfer of the flag from Pakur to Simdega at Birmitrapur on the Odisha border. President Rajesh Thakur handed it over to Odisha President Sharat Patnaik in front of Rahul Gandhi.
