Eight Executives and Four employees of Material Management Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were awarded under the ‘Shabash scheme in a function held in ED (MM) Conference Hall on 10th January 2024. The Karmaveer award was also presented during the function. Mr. Somnath Tripathy, ED (MM) chaired the programme. Present on the occasion were Mr. K S Virdi, GM I/c (MM), Mr. C.V.Apparao, GM (Marketing) and other senior officers of the department.
Mr. Somnath Tripathy congratulated the awardees and appreciated the enterprising efforts for their exemplary contribution towards achieving organizational objectives. Ms. Malti Sutar, Executive Assistant was presented with the Karmveer award for her dedication towards achieving organizational goals.
Under the Shabash scheme employees were awarded in two categories. In First Catagory, the award winners were Ms. Sunita Tigga, GM(MM), Mr. Omkar Mohanty, DM(MM), Mr. S K Pathy, DM(MM) and Mr. Shyam Sundar Singh, Executive Assistant.
In Second Catagory, the award winners were Mr. Sovan Kumar Bera, Manager (MM), Mr. J K Acharya, Store Keeper, Mr. Aseem Apurv, DGM (MM), Mr. Santanu Ghosh, DGM(MM), Mr. Tapan Ku. Naik, DM (MM), Mr. Deepak Kumar Dash, DM (MM), Ms. Susama John, Senior Executive Assistant and Ms. Satyabhama Pradhan, Senior Executive Assistant. Ms. Shikha Jain, AGM(MM), coordinated the function.
