Thursday, 02 May 2024 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Chintaman Ganesh Temple in Sehore on Wednesday and offered darshan and worship and wished for the well-being, welfare and prosperity of the people of the country and the state. Whereas, after Sanchi and Silwani assembly, the former CM today launched the Jan-Aashirwad Yatra from village Sewaniya of Ichhawar assembly of Vidisha Lok Sabha. During this, the former CM said that for me, service to the public is worship of God.

All sisters are idols of goddesses and daughters are actual goddesses. People pray to God and ask for many things but I ask only one thing from God that, Lord I do not want wealth, power, knowledge, heaven and salvation. Only after my death, give me birth again and again among these people so that I can serve them.

Attacking Congress, Chauhan said that Congress is now coming to an end. Congress candidates are also leaving the party and joining BJP for the development of the country. Good and thoughtful leaders of Congress are leaving the party because of wrong decisions of Congress. Because they know that there is nothing left in Congress now. Despite being in government, Congress never laid even a single brick of development.

Development work has been done only under the Bharatiya Janata Party government. During the Congress era, there were neither roads, nor electricity nor water supply. It was not known whether there were potholes in the roads or roads in the potholes. The entire region was destroyed and destroyed. Today, under the leadership of Modi ji, our country is moving forward and on the path of development.

The sisters presented a sack of wheat to Chauhan during the Jan Ashirwad Yatra. On this occasion, the former CM said emotionally that the sisters have given a sack of wheat today. When the sister was asked why she was giving it, the sister said, brother, this wheat is for your election expenses. The former Chief Minister said, which brother gets such love, I salute you again and again.

He said that he will keep the sack of wheat here and after winning the elections, the Kanya Bhoj will be held here in which I will also come. My sisters are withdrawing money from their wallets to me and saying, brother, this is 10 rupees for your election campaign. Usually, when a leader contests elections, they ask for money, but I am such a lucky brother, who has For this, the sisters are collecting money from their hard-earned money and donating it to contest the elections.

The former Chief Minister said that, since childhood, I had seen discrimination between sons and daughters, had seen the sorrows and troubles of sisters. There was a lot of pain at that time and there was only one resolution in my mind that I had to bring new light in the lives of my sisters and daughters. When he became the Chief Minister, the first thing he implemented was Ladli Lakshmi Yojana.

Today I am proud to say that there are more than 50 lakh Ladli Lakshmiyas in the state. When I was an MP, I used to get daughters married, but I alone could not get more than 21, 31 daughters married.
