BJP candidate Vishnu Dayal Ram today filed his nomination paper for the Palamu lok sabha seat voting for which is due on May 13.
The BJP parachuted its former minister V K Singh, retired General of the Army Staff and Babulal Marandi state president to grace the nomination filing for Ram.
District president Amit Tiwary said there came two choppers. Babulal Marandi came first by chopper and fifteen minutes later V K Singh landed in Daltonganj by another chopper.
The BJP made this nomination filing affair a mega electoral event.
Amit Tiwary said the BJP staged a road show also after the nomination which drew a very strong public response.
The RJD candidate Mamta Bhuiyan accompanied first by her state president Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav and later on by the minister Satyanand Bhokta filed her nomination papers today.
Mamta Bhuiyan looked very confident. She had no electoral anxiety at all. The mood in the RJD camp was very upbeat. There was a distinct difference in these two filing for the nominations.
The BJP looked expensive. The RJD was economical. No one came from Bihar for the RJD although till today Tejashwi Yadav's visit was floated in public while the fact of the matter was that Tejashwi Yadav was in Bihar's Purniya's lok sabha seat.
