On the occasion of Women’s Day, a women felicitation ceremony was organized in memory of Late Praveena Pandey at the International Center of Media Excellence (ICOM). The program was organised under the aegis of Think and Support Foundation, Gwalior.
The Chief Guest of the program was Kiran Bhadauria, Director of Greenwood Public School while noted social activist and senior journalist Dr Keshav Pandey presided.
During the ceremony girls and women who brought glory to the city in various fields including education, health, social service, sports, journalism, engineering, fashion, art, music and dance were honored with Praveena Pandey Nari Shakti Samman.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Bhadauria said that gods and goddesses reside in such families and societies where women are respected. Respect of the society increases only by respect of women. She added that it is important for everyone to respect women and always inspire them to move forward.
Bhupendra Kant conducted the program and Anil Kant expressed the vote of thanks.
