Union Minister of State Rao Inderjeet Singh said that Haryana’s latest digital initiatives will now enable citizens to access Government services in an easier, transparent and time-bound manner.
He was speaking at the launch of four new initiatives of the Revenue Department – a paperless registry system, paperless land demarcation, a WhatsApp chatbot, and a digital monitoring system for revenue courts.
He said that with these measures, people will no longer need to wait in long queues at Government offices or make repeated visits, making services more convenient and effective.
The minister added that through digital monitoring and paperless systems, all land and revenue-related work will become fully transparent for farmers and the general public.
Citizens can now apply for land registration and measurement directly through their mobile phones or computers, which will speed up documentation processes and make them more user-friendly.
Singh also emphasised that these systems will ensure accountability among Government officials. Through digital services, details of ongoing court cases will now be directly accessible on mobile devices, sparing citizens the need to make frequent office visits.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated all these initiatives via video conferencing from the Babain Tehsil in Kurukshetra. On this occasion, the live rollout of these digital services began simultaneously across all districts of Haryana.
Citizens will now be able to apply for registry, land measurement, and other revenue services from the comfort of their homes using their mobile phones.
Gurugram MLA Mukesh Sharma said the initiative marks a significant step toward transparency in governance and greater convenience for citizens.
He particularly highlighted the benefits for farmers, who will no longer need to run from office to office. According to him, the system will save time and reduce hardships for the people.
Meanwhile, MLA Tejpal Tanwar stated that the introduction of digital services will bring more transparency to administrative processes and curb corruption.
He described the initiative as a major step toward making Haryana a modern, smart state and urged citizens to make maximum use of the digital platforms to avail government services in a simple and effective manner.
